ABOUT
MOVING EARTH, CROSSING WATER, EATING SOIL

Moving Earth, Crossing Water, Eating Soil offers invitations to lean in, listen and reorient our senses to the coordinates of unruly spaces on maps. The work draws from islands that have lost their names, creation myths and faultlines/pathways/desire paths made legible by migratory flows of heirlooms, peripatetic bodily imprints, trickster tides, submerged reefs and maritime arteries. The work unfolds durationally over the course of the exhibition, through 9 archetypal prompts and departure points, namely The Guide, The Witness, The Wrathful Deity, The Pyramidal Cell, The Gate, The Peculiar Habitat, The Rotating Naga, The Talisman, and The Pragmatic Prayer.
